Its been an eventful day! I received the analysis of my 2nd draft from my editor a day early, much to my delight! They stated my revisions were spot on and rounded out the story perfectly, and also pointed out a few small continuity issues they had spotted. Having completed the edits to the book and then a quick proofread to clean up any inconsistencies, my 2nd draft of the manuscript is officially off to the editors! This time we're doing a targeted developmental edit of the additional and modified chapters to ensure the new character POVs flow with the rest of the book, and that I didn't miss any plot holes with the new content!
