Behind the Archives - Week of 2/1/2026
Selected Record: Of Oracles and Sirens Status Report These last couple weeks have been a flurry of activity! I've been switching between writing on the first draft of my second book, getting marketing posts out, and approving line edits for 'Of Oracles and Sirens'. All that plus an unveiling for the book's cover art and getting advanced reading copies out to early readers! I've been a bit busy to say the least. Highlights from the Archive We have a few more entries in the Re

GeekOut, episode 2!
Out of all of the technologies that we are trying to perfect today, I think fusion power holds one of the largest potentials to really transform our world. Clean, cheap, and abundant energy wouldn’t just lower our electricity bills, it would fundamentally change how we think about electrical power and how we use it. Like most new technologies, this could lead to both good and bad uses, but I believe the potential upsides for outweigh the negatives. First, though, let’s make s

Selected Record: Of Oracles and Sirens Status Report Happy New Year! The first couple weeks I've mostly been focused on landing my marketing content. As a space exploration geek, I have long been familiar with the challenging

Selected Record: Of Oracles and Sirens Status Report My manuscript is officially out for line and copy editing! I'm nearing the end of this journey for Of Oracles and Sirens and I could not be more excited! That said, I am now switching gears into full-steam marketing mode. Thus, I'm making some changes to this space in what I hope will be a more valuable edition of my usual blog posts. Firstly, these posts will be on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis going forward, larg

Story-locked!
Its been an eventful day! I received the analysis of my 2nd draft from my editor a day early, much to my delight! They stated my revisions were spot on and rounded out the story perfectly, and also pointed out a few small continuity issues they had spotted. After fixing these, they recommend I move on to line and copy editing! I dove into making those revisions immediately, and with everything wrapped up the manuscript is now officially story-locked! This means the only chang
