Its been an eventful day! I received the analysis of my 2nd draft from my editor a day early, much to my delight! They stated my revisions were spot on and rounded out the story perfectly, and also pointed out a few small continuity issues they had spotted. After fixing these, they recommend I move on to line and copy editing!

I dove into making those revisions immediately, and with everything wrapped up the manuscript is now officially story-locked! This means the only changes going forward will be cleaning up the prose and cleaning up any typos or inconsistencies that I undoubtedly missed. I'll be getting the manuscript sent out for line and copy editing pretty quickly here, and gearing up for my marketing campaign leading up to launch of the book!

Once I get an estimated completion time for the line and copy edits, I'll be able to narrow down exactly when I'm going to fully publish Of Oracles and Sirens. Assembling a list of ARC readers is another item on the list for next month, so as soon as I get everything back from the copy editing I can get it sent out for people to read and get their reviews ready to roll prior to launch!

I am so excited to be this close to completing my first novel, but even more excited that this means I'll be able to dive into writing the next book soon!

Stay tuned, changes coming to this space soon! Ad Astra Per Constantia et Somnia - Strix
