Selected Record: Of Oracles and Sirens

Status Report

These last couple weeks have been a flurry of activity! I've been switching between writing on the first draft of my second book, getting marketing posts out, and approving line edits for 'Of Oracles and Sirens'. All that plus an unveiling for the book's cover art and getting advanced reading copies out to early readers! I've been a bit busy to say the least.

Highlights from the Archive

We have a few more entries in the Requiem's Log, as well as our first look at a post from a character in the book! There is also another GeekOut post which you can find here on my website.

Behind the Curtain

Getting my book's cover art back was an awesome feeling, seeing a design that only existed in my mind brought to life by an artist. And thus far reactions have been great, people think the cover looks awesome and is quite striking! Future novels will stick to the same theme, with different characters on the cover each time.

And for my next trick...

With the ARC version of the book formatted and ready to go, I'll be aiming to get another ten early readers signed up. I should also be getting the copy-edited draft of my manuscript back from my editor early this week. Once I've gone through the changes and accepted everything that I like that's it, the book is ready for final formatting!

Once all that is done, I'll be turning much of my focus back to writing for book 2. Oh, and I suppose its probably about time to reveal the launch date for the first book as well... stay tuned for that!
