Sidetracked...

My first couple weeks of time off from work have largely been eaten up with getting our old house ready to list, finally. Between that, keeping up with family, and a new expansion for No Man's Sky I've been a wee bit side tracked! But that's ok, it has given me time to catch up on things that needed tackled and to recharge a bit. I did manage to get Chapter 11 editing finished, and am hoping to really dive into more editing in earnest next week, aiming for 2 chapters per day. Oh, and I also re-read "The Mercy of Gods" from James S.A. Corey, so there's at least one goal for my time off done!

Lastly, had a fun idea for a random story pop into my head the other night: a super-hero serial killer who lures people into attacking him, always making it look like self defense and that he's the good guy! He likely starts off with gangs and mercenary groups, no one thinks twice about the bad guys going after a superhero after all. But eventually he grows board, and suddenly "crooked" law enforcement are coming after him... things likely escalate until other super heroes have to step in and figure out what is going on. Might be something I work on while my second draft is waiting on the editor, we'll see! At any rate, I can't wait to get all this house prep out of the way so that I can get back to editing and writing without having to worry about much else!
