This past week was fairly exciting! I unveiled the official title for my debut novel, continued building up my audience on TikTok, and made solid progress with editing!

TikTok has been interesting to dive into as a somewhat elder millennial who swore he would never get on that platform. The editing mechanics make it easy to quickly whip up cool looking videos and content. I still find myself only viewing things from very specific topics or people on there, which is kind of how I approach other things like YouTube and Reddit anyway. The STEM section on there is intriguing, though filled with lots of test prep stuff. I'm also posting my TikTok videos as Reels on Facebook for people that prefer that platform.

As to editing, I am currently making my main storyline edits to address some pacing and plot holes that my editor pointed out. I've written one new chapter for the book, edited the next two chapters to better fit with some of the new details, and have a good start on another new chapter that I'm adding in. I think there will be two or three more new chapters to add, and then just fine tuning a few things in all the other chapters. I hope to have this all wrapped up by mid August, and then it will be on to line editing and proofreading!

Its really exciting to be honing in on the final steps for this book, I can't wait to share it with everyone!
