This has been a fun week! As I wait on the beta reader to finish her work, I've been able to get some other things lined up. First, I found an artist for the book cover! Alexander Gustafsen was recommended to me through a friend, and I'm excited to see the results! You should definitely go over to his page at illustratedpixels.com and check out his work. Once I have the cover art in, I will begin marketing efforts in earnest and likely plan a reveal date for the official title and cover art for the book!

Secondly, I decided on a platform for self publishing my work and have everything there ready. This is mostly boring administrative stuff, but for a first time author its exciting to be one step closer to getting my book out into the world!

Lastly, I went in several different directions over the course of the week with how I wanted to approach future books in the series. I'll share more details on this after the launch of book 1, but suffice to say my plans should keep me busy for a long time to come. Which is great, because I love the process of study and research that goes into worldbuilding for these books!
