I officially finished my first draft last night! As of right now the book is roughly 317 pages and 92,500 words. I anticipate it will likely grow a bit as I go begin my editing phase; I definitely know there are areas that could use some better descriptions, and likely a few passages added here and there.

This puts me a good couple weeks ahead of the schedule I had set for myself! After I do my own edit passes I plan on having the manuscript reviewed by a professional editor. On my initial schedule I had anticipated getting to a place where I'd feel ready to publish in August. I likely will keep that as the target and use any extra time I gain to further refine the book.

I'm also excited to start looking around for artists to make the cover for the book and possibly some concept art for various characters and places! But, tonight, I relax and celebrate a bit!
